1. You all know I'm a huge advocate of Goodreads, but if you have a friend who stills prefer pen and paper, this library-card-inspired journal would be the perfect place for her to jot down books to add to her ever-growing TBR pile.
$10.95
2. A book! Duh. This historical fiction novel was one of my personal favorites I read this year, but you can also check out my Goodreads for more ideas.
$12.04 (hardcover), $9.78 (Kindle)
3. I'll admit: I cheated a bit on this item. This Kindle case is originally more than $20, but Amazon has a used one available for only $15.99! So I had to include it. (You can also buy a pink one on eBay for only $12.99, but I've never used eBay so I was more comfortable with the Amazon option.) And there are plenty of other gorgeous Kindle covers out there for your e-reader friends.
$15.99 (used)
4. This clip-on book light from Barnes & Noble is available in various colors, from green to pink to silver. The store also offers adorable Vera Bradley versions, but I personally couldn't justify spending $20 on a book light, so I chose to share this simple yet fun one instead.
$9.99
5. How pretty is this bookmark? And that's all I need to say about that.
$8.99
6. Did you know Mark Twain smelled like tobacco flower and vanilla? Neither did I, but I bet this candle smells like freedom and adventure! Barnes & Noble also offers other author-inspired candles, from Emily Dickinson to Edgar Allen Poe.
$19.95
7. These adorable book ends would have worked for last week's stocking stuffer guide, too, but they seemed to be a more practical fit here. They probably wouldn't actually fit in a stocking, but they were under $20 and I couldn't resist!
$19.99
If you've written (or plan to write) your own post about bookish gifts, be sure to link up tomorrow with Jessica for the return of the Book Chat! Tomorrow's topic is: "What books (or book-related gifts) are on your Christmas wish list this year?"
