Luckily, I had a lot of time to read during my travels this Christmas. I hope my reading doesn't drop off too much after I get back on the road later this week! Here's my most recent update (I moved Water for Elephants to a different category—it's been on my Kindle since February, I think—so Gone Girl could fit in the genre category):
5 points: Read a book written by an author you have never read before. — The Help, Kathryn Stockett (530 pages)
5 points: Read a book you already have at home but haven’t gotten around to yet. — Water for Elephants, Sara Gruen (drama/literary fiction) (335 pages)
15 points: Read a book titled The _______'s Daughter or The _______'s Wife. The Bloodletter's Daughter, Linda Lafferty (512 pages)
30 points: Read three books from three different genres. — Between the Lines, Samantha van Leer & Jodi Picoult (young adult/fantasy) (358 pages); Between Shades of Gray, Ruta Sepetys (historical fiction) (338 pages); and Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn (thriller) (419 pages)
