Please comment on this post in the following format to check in. Please do not forget page numbers! Remember all books must be at least 200 pages long unless otherwise specified. You may also link to your reviews or own check-in post if you wish, but that is not required; we operate on the honor code. However, I do ask that you include a simple rating next to each book in your check-in post (on a scale of 1 to 5 stars), per the request of past participants. Also, please note that categories involving multiple books (e.g. read two books with meals in the titles) do not earn any points until the entire category is completed.
20 points: Read a book with a direction in the title. — Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Gregory Maguire (406 pages, 1 star)
PREVIOUS POINTS: 180
TOTAL POINTS: 200 (I'm done! Woohoo!)
Please record your final progress by March 7 in order to be included in the final scoreboard, which will be posted on March 10. Please also remember that if you are one of the first five finishers listed above, you've won the chance to choose a category for the summer 2015 challenge! Feel free to comment on this post with your suggested category or email me at semicharmedkol[at]gmail[dot]com by April 1 to submit your category.

This challenge lasted four months instead of the usual three, but I'm curious to see which format you prefer. Vote below to decide how long the summer challenge will be! It will run either from May 1 to August 31, or June 1 to August 31.

How long should the summer challenge be?

Three months (May - August)
Four months (June - August)
