Fall Reads from Lovee, Seems

Today I'm very lucky to have Seema from lovee, seems guest posting here on Semi-Charmed Kind of Life! She is sharing four of her top literary picks for the fall, and she has something for everyone, from biography to poetry. If you're looking for a good book to pick up with that pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate on a cool autumn night, be sure to read more after the jump!

Summer's over, fall's approaching!

Fall is probably my favorite season of the year. Weird to say since I've grown up in California but now that I live in New England, I actually get to see the leaves changing colors. It's beautiful and one of my favorite things ever. Not only are there changing leaves but everything is pumpkin related and I do love me some pumpkin pie and pumpkin spice coffee.

Reading is not only for the fall. Many people associate reading with the fall because of school but if you're a bibliophile like me, reading is year-round. Here's a list of my picks for the upcoming season.

Salinger: Salinger has been an enigma, until now. After years of research, the authors have visited five continents and interviewed more than 200 people offering direct accounts of Salinger's life. All previous attempts of the Catcher in the Rye author's biography have lacked truth with inaccurate information. This book has records, documents, and photos depicting the last mysterious years of J.D. Salinger's life.

The Lowland: A story about two brothers in two different paths. When the life of one of the brothers takes an undirected turn, the other comes back to pick up the pieces of a broken family, to heal wounds, and learn that love does not end after death.

Knocking on Heaven's Door: A memoir about a daughter who helps her parents in their final years exploring the terror of death and when it collides with medical intervention where it often creates more suffering than it prevents.

Love & Misadventure: Poems of love and heartbreak with an ending of hope.

What's going to be on your bookshelf this fall?
