I'm totally lame and failing at my own reading challenge. I haven't made any progress in The Fellowship of the Ring for about two or three weeks.
PREVIOUS POINTS: 145
TOTAL POINTS: 145

Please update me on your progress in a comment on this post. I usually don't write the scoreboard post until Saturday, so as long as you check in by Friday I should have your most up-to-date score on the board. If you forget to check in one week, no worries! Just catch yourself up on the next week's check-in. If you just joined the challenge, welcome! Please feel free to include all books you've read since May 1 that were at least 200 pages long. You can review the full list of rules here. Good luck!

  3. Congratulations Hannah!
As for me, last week I read the Edda, which I learned a lot about at university but never read. It was, hum, interesting. That's 10 points. Now I'm reading A Feast for Crows, which counts for the "book you've heard bad things about" points, but I guess it'll take me more than one week.

  7. 30 more points for me because I finished the other part of a pair of antonyms books (Please Look After Mom) and also a story in a setting I would like to visit but haven't yet (London Transports). Now my total is 125 points. Still have to finish my trilogy as I didn't take my iPhone on vacation and that is in my audio files.

Tick, tock, tick tock...deadline is getting close, but I started late, so my goal is finishing by Labor Day.

  8. I'm back. Apparently I was wrong, I did finish A Feast for Crows in less than a week! That's 25 more points, and it wasn't even as bad as I expected!
