Per my "bucket list" (or what I like to call my "to-do list"), I will read all 100 of these books, taken from the BBC "The Big Read" list. Unfortunately, this list was made in 2003, so I'm missing out on eight years worth of fantastic novels. However, I think after I finish this list I will go through Oprah's Book Club selections (now No. 42 on my list!) or the New York Times Best Sellers lists to catch up.
When I first made this page (in October 2011), I had already read 29 of these novels. There were a few more I knew I had read but couldn't quite remember, so I left them open to reread. If I read a book since I posted the list, it will have the date of completion next to it, and hopefully a link to my review of the book (or at least a rating on a five-star scale). If you find another great list for me to work through after this one is done, let me know!
