Remember that post I promised you about fiction/nonfiction pairs for the autumn book challenge? Well, the day has come for me to share my ideas! But you'll have to head over to Doing it the Open Way to see the post; I'm guest posting as part of her Non Fic November series today. This post also coincides perfectly with Jessica's Book Chat link-up topic for the week: nonfiction. I love killing two birds with one stone. Check out the full post here.
Have you read any good nonfiction lately? What's your favorite topic to read about?

I saw that you had a nice list to Tudor related books. I just wanted to mention Sister Queens: The Noble, Tragic Lives of Katerhine of Aragon and Juana, Queen of Castile by Julia Fox. I loved her idea to discuss the fate of these two sisters. Also, sort of related but not Tudors - She Wolves: The Women Who Ruled England Before Elizabeth by Helen Castor. It's such a great read, and provides bios for four women that were highly influential in their time. Matilda, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Isabel (the one that revolted against her husband, Edward II - the king's son in Braveheart), and Margaret of Anjou.
I never read as much as nonfiction as I'd like but there is so much that always looks fascinating. Also, Collapse by Jared Diamond is amazing though you'll get really worried about our environment and whether there are enough resources available. Auschitz: A New History was incredibly interesting, too.
I really appreciate how much reading you're able to do and have been wondering how much television (if any) you watch. I'm thinking about cutting back even further. From 7 hours a week down to about 2 or 3...
