Winter Book Challenge: Month 1


It's time for the first Semi-Charmed Winter 2012 Book Challenge check in! Please leave a comment on this post letting me know what you've read so far, in the following format:
30: Read three books from three different genres. — Between the Lines, Samantha van Leer & Jodi Picoult (young adult/fantasy) (358 pages); Between Shades of Gray, Ruta Sepetys (historical fiction) (338 pages); and Water for Elephants, Sara Gruen (drama/literary fiction) (335 pages)

20: Read a book with a number in the title. This could be an actual digit or a number like “hundred” or “thousand.” No arbitrary numbers are allowed (e.g. several, few, many, couple). Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho.

Ok my check-in is that I'm done. I completed all 14 books in 28 days. I had a personal goal to finish it in a month and I beat it by 2 days.

Favorite book of challenge that I picked-Jubliee
Least Favorite-Lisey's Story(and I'm a HUGE King fan)

Good books-

A Season of Angels
The Story of Edgar Sawetelle(good until ending)

I noticed people having issues with finding authors with their initials... I just went to the bookstore and actually found someone with my exact initials after browsing for a bit. What fun!!!

Grats!! I liked Lisey's Story but there was something about it that was off. Maybe the jumping back and forth. No real explanation that I remember either.

Ah. Okay I know I am so behind but finals got the best of me and I had to put the book challenge on the back burner. But I'm gonna keep trying over break now that I should have more time to read. I'll have to update my list this week and see where I am at! Sorry for missing the first check in.
