Welcome to the third and final check-in for the Semi-Charmed Winter 2012 Book Challenge! I'd also like to congratulate the second winner of this challenge, J. Imari! I'm disappointed to tell you I don't have any points to add to my score this month! I read The Handmaid's Tale, but I can't find a category to put it in. I'm also currently reading The Casual Vacancy, but even if I had finished, I don't think it would have fit in a category, either. Therefore, my grand total is a sad 55 points (sad because I'm hosting the challenge; not sad for any of you who are participating!).
    PREVIOUS POINTS: 55
    TOTAL POINTS: 55

Please leave a comment on this post recording your progress by February 10. If you didn't check in last month, that's fine; just update me on everything up to this point. Also, for the "genre" challenge, you must read all three books to get the points. There are no partial points in any category. I will post the final scoreboard shortly after February 10. Begin thinking of new categories and/or suggestions for my next book challenge, tentatively scheduled for May — July!

I didn't finish any this month. :( But I still did better this time than I did last time, and even though I don't finish, I love these challenge. I read a few books that I would not have picked up otherwise, such as The Shadow of the Wind which has become an all-time favorite, so I count that as winning. :) Can't wait for the next one.

I've none to add either, but it was still fun trying to find books for the categories. I look forward to participating in your next challenge!

This is a suuuuper late follow-up, but I want you to know that I'm on the board! I finished 11/22/63 on the last day of January, making my overall total for the challenge a whopping 20 points. Not exactly the finish I was aiming for, but hey, maybe I'll make a glorious comeback in the summer :)
