15 points: Read a book in one calendar day. — Will Grayson, Will Grayson, John Green & David Levithan (310 pages)
5 points: Read a book chosen for the 2012 World Book Night. — The Namesake, Jhumpa Lahiri (291 pages)
PREVIOUS POINTS: 40To be honest, reading a book in one day was completely an accident. I decided to read Will Grayson, Will Grayson for another challenge and started it on my lunch break on Wednesday. It was going pretty quickly, so I kept at it for a few hours when I got home. I watched the season finale of Law & Order: SVU at 9 p.m. and finished the book shortly afterward. It was great!
TOTAL POINTS: 60
I also read the first book of my antonym pair, Plainsong by Kent Haruf. My other half is Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, but I haven't picked it up yet. I still have quite a stack of library books to get through. (Plain and Odd: Antonyms, yes?)
Please update me on your progress in a comment on this post. I usually don't write the scoreboard post until Saturday, so as long as you check in by Friday I should have your most up-to-date score on the board. If you forget to check in one week, no worries! Just catch yourself up on the next week's check-in. If you just joined the challenge, welcome! Please feel free to include all books you've read since May 1 that were at least 200 pages long. You can review the full list of rules here. Good luck!

So far I've read the first book in my trilogy challenge: 50 Shades of Grey, so I guess out of the 30 points, I have 10 points. I just started the second book in the trilogy a few days ago and am loving it more than the first book.
Finally on the board -

I'm almost done with the first book of my two antonyms (The Girl Who Played With Fire) and then I'll be starting About a Boy. Still no points. :(

I don't think I can claim any points yet, put please add me to the list :-)
I've read one from my couple of antonyms (*Last* Night in Twisted River) but I guess I need both to claim points, right? I've also read the "book you've always wanted to read" (The Lord of the Flies), but I still have to review it -- hopefully I'll get it reviews by next week so I can claim the 15 points then ;-)
